Who holds your data

This site is published by American Institute of Business & Technology. The assessment at aica.americanibt.com and the learning platform at learn.americanibt.com are operated by AZRE Consulting LLC for the Institute, and each publishes its own policy covering what it collects and which processors touch it.

• Learning platform privacy policy — accounts, payments, course progress, assessments, reflections and certificate records.
• The assessment site collects the responses and contact details you enter there, under the terms shown to you before you begin.

What this site collects

• Contact details you send us directly by email or through a form.
• Certificate records, for anyone we have issued a credential to.
• Standard web analytics, which do not identify you personally.

Assessment responses

Individual results go to the individual. Whether a full report is also emailed, and whether results are shared with the organization that issued the access code, is set by that organization and disclosed to the participant before they begin. Organizations otherwise receive aggregate data and a completion list, not individual responses. This is a design commitment, not only a policy one: the instrument is self-report and stops being accurate if people believe otherwise.

Certificate verification

Verification pages display the holder name, course, dates and certificate ID to anyone holding the certificate ID. That is the purpose of a credential. Verification pages are excluded from search engine indexes.
